The majority of artists engaged to do a paid Concert (two spots of 45 minutes or so) are musicians who have previously turned up to do a Singers’ Night floor spot.

Alternatively, they might have first done an extended “Showcase” spot on the recommendation of members who might have seen them perform at other local clubs. This is a good way to try out the venue and see how well they go down with our audience.
