This week’s Ruthin AllStyles Folk & Acoustic Singers Night features a showcase performance by Jon Brindley.

This likeable and talented entertainer from Wigan, turned up last September completely out of the blue, to do a Singers’ Night floor spot at our club. He went down so well on the night, the response was a resounding ‘yes’ when we asked whether you’d like to see him again.

So tonight Jon will be performing a 45 minute Showcase mid way through the evening and the extended finale spot as well.

Jon’s influences include the likes of The Beatles, Dylan, Buffy Sainte Marie, BB King, Richard Thompson, Hendrix, Jethro Tull and Woody Guthrie. Having seen him perform at other venues as well as his short spot here last year we can promise you a fantastic evening’s entertainment.

Our club nights have become a firm favourite in the music lovers’ calendar, attracting performers and audience members from all over the Vale of Clwyd and beyond. And as is usual on Showcase evenings, Club members will be performing floor spots before and after our guest, providing a broad mix from Folk to Blues to R&B, from Country to Celtic to Charts.
