They are always guaranteed to entertain with some great covers amongst their home-grown songs, including the likes of Elton John’s classic “Roy Rogers is Riding Tonight”
(click ► below) and the beautiful “Crazy”, written by Willy Nelson.
Last time they appeared at the club they wowed us with a segue of two songs written sixty years apart: “Eddie’s Guitar”, penned by Jimmy, tells the story about Eddie Cochran who died in a tragic motor accident during his British tour back in April 1960, followed by a fabulous version of the American rock star’s classic, “Summertime Blues” (below).
The function room at The Feathers Inn is ‘seated with tables’. There is a separate well-stocked bar with guest ales. Tea/coffee is available. Disabled access and plenty of nearby parking. And if you want to stay over, The Feathers also has beautifully appointed rooms available at reasonable prices.
We have a limited number of tickets available for non-members to join us for this event, in the cosy and intimate atmosphere of our friendly club.
As usual, tickets will be at a highly subsidised* price (£5)
Members concessionary tickets are available at The Feathers on any club night.
* Ruthin AllStyles is a not-for-profit club. Ticket prices are considerably lower than might be expected because a portion of the door money collected on our weekly Singers’ Nights helps subsidise the cost of engaging professional musicians for these special events. By the same token, members who contribute to those funds by attending on a fairly regular basis can look forward to their usual concession.
