How to find us
You could say the club has “come home” because it was in this very room that the The Feathers Folk Club was founded on October 31st in 1996.
Back then, the room was found to be too cold and damp, prompting the first of what were to become many changes of both name and venue.
By contrast, The Feathers of today is warm and welcoming, and the function room is comfortable and acoustically superb. It is wheelchair accessible (via the door off the rear car park) and there is ample parking nearby, as shown on the map below.
The bar is well stocked and the pub offers well appointed self-catering accommodation should you wish to stay overnight.
If you are visiting from outside the area, Ruthin is very easy to find, being only 30 minutes by road from Chester, Queensferry, Wrexham, Llangollen, Corwen, Rhyl, 45 minutes from Llandudno, Bala, Oswestry, Nantwich and just an hour from Liverpool. It is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd approached by the A494 (east and west) and the A525 (north and south). Set your SatNav to LL15 1AW.
